The Great Escapade : My Fun Travel with MAS

I am going to be 23 next month and I cannot help but to sigh at the thought of it. It feels just like yesterday I wore my mortar hat and hugging the generic graduation flower bouquets. The yesterday was actually few weeks back. My graduation day was definitely a memorable one, attended only by my mother because everyone else was busy. This part was a bit sad for me as I had wished for all my family members to be there but nevertheless, my mom was there and nothing could beat sharing the joyous moments with your mother.

My mom gave me a necklace with a nice diamond pendant as my graduation gift and of course, a bouquet of roses. I was so happy and hugged her but before I could reach for her, something fell out from the bouquet of flowers. I could already see a hint of a familiar blue and red logo. My fabulous mother had mischievously hidden a pair of MAS tickets inside there! Before knowing the destination, I hugged my mother tightly and tears were streaming down my cheeks. My mom joined in the unison of tears :P By the way, we were already on the way to YOGYAKARTA!!

My adventure did not stop there.

After returning from Yogyakarta, I had to stay in KL as I was going to start working in a week. Mommy had returned to Sabah. The first day after my great holiday, I felt lonely staying alone in Kuala Lumpur and reminiscing about the trip to Yogyakarta made me miss my mom so much. If only Sabah is near. I want to go home! But the flight fare to Sabah is usually expensive and I do not want to use my Pa&Ma fund (Father & Mother fund) :P But I am really homesick. Suddenly, I remembered something! The trip to Yogyakarta was made possible with the Weekend Getaway deal under the MAS Stimulus Package. I wondered if there are other deals available and bam! There was the Balik Kampung Deal and the ticket to Tawau was only RM99! I could use my own money to purchase the tickets! My parents would be so proud :D I went back to Sabah the next day and stayed there for 5 days. Family, great home cooked food,

Back to living life. My honeymoon period is over, no more flying here and there holiday-ing and I have started working. My first job! Being in advertising, the working hours are crazy. Long gone my social life like when I was a student. But we move one yes? Although, one amazing thing happened to me. I have met the most wonderful guy after so long of being alone! He's able to make me blush and giggle like a small kid. Swoon! He's still studying and working part time as a DJ. Oh. Last week, something rather exciting happened. He got a job to spin at a party in Langkawi. When he informed me, I was a bit sad as I would miss him and on the day of the show itself was our 6th month together and I've planned something to celebrate the rather special occasion. I was dissapointed but I couldn't tell him as he was there on a job. 2 days before he took off, he called me up and told me he's 10 minutes away from my home and he has got a surprise for me. He picked me up and we went to our favourite teh tarik place, Uncle Don at Plaza Damas, Hartamas. I was pestering him to reveal the surprise (P.S: I always ruin the surprise. Example: I was angry at him during Valentine's day asking for my flowers when he had something else in mind). After much pestering, he took my hands and placed an airline ticket on my palm :) Guess. I was going to LANGKAWI WITH HIM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I celebrated our 6th month of being together in Langkawi yall!! This was made possible by the MH Flex 1+1 package. I was the plus 1. hehehe.

Him in action

After his show, he was all mine. We spent the rest of the night holding hands, cam-whoring, and drove each other crazy :) A night to remember. He's gonna have a hard time figuring out the next surprise to top this one off. I wouldn't wanna be him when the time comes. Hahaha. I still love you babez :)

I have just realized. All my trips throughout the year have been made possible by MAS and it feels like MAS had tagged along throughout the trips. Well, I have been so happy in all my trips that I want to catch all 9 packages to continue the happiness. I am so into the Stimulus Package, I made them into stickers and constructed a schedule and I would make sure I'm gonna fill my shcedule with all 9 stickers. 3 down, 6 more to go! *I am still on cloud 9 from all the amazing trips*

Man! That was great. This truly is the time to travel!
